Three blog posts written in three weeks!! If that doesn’t deserve a double thumbs up... πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
Surprise - I have published yet another blog post! It’s almost like I’m in lockdown or something...πŸ€”
First post on my travel insta in a while, having written my first blog post in even longer!! This one is written about my trip to Loch Ness, Scotland last year - link in bio if you fancy a read 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌍
A few pics to come from the last of three trips I managed to make in 2020! Dubai back in February, Scotland in September and Berlin in October. Feel very lucky to have managed to get away three times, but I had plenty more planned/ cancelled! Lets hope 2021 (and a vaccine) brings back some normality to the travel industry eh 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣
San Pedro de Atacama, a small town made up of dirt streets and buildings made of sun-dried clay bricks; an oasis in the middle of the driest desert in the world. ⭐️ Again, this is another spot normally full to brim of tourists/ backpackers... tourist money is the main income. Would love to know how’s it doing in 2020? πŸ˜”
Not a bad spot for your morning cuppa - looking out over the highest lake in the world πŸŒŽβ€οΈβ˜• wow I miss 2019
Pictures = memories 🌎❀️
Been a while since the last post but Happy World Elephant Day! A day always worth celebrating 🐘🌏
Two indigenous Bolivian women in their traditional Andean clothing (which I just LOVE - so much colour) πŸ’• with their four-legged cotton wool ball following along behindπŸ¦™
Donkeys are everywhere on Isla del Sol. There are no roads or motorised vehicles, only rocky trails winding up steep hills, so donkeys are used by the locals to carry their heavy loads. Fortunately, most of the ones I saw looked reasonably well looked after like these two - and it was so nice to hear their hee-haw as we walked around! (Made me jump the first few times, thinking someone was screaming πŸ™ˆ) #donkeysarethebest
And today in miniature land... πŸ¦™πŸ˜
Before I got to La Paz, I spent two weeks in Sucre where my phone was stolen - one of those things you hear about happening all the time but never expect to happen to you! I was pretty miserable about it, had to borrow phones from people I met for two weeks - had to cancel my accounts, call my insurance etc from pay phones - and to make things worse, at the same time I caught some pretty savage food poisoning πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ (oversharing, sorry)
