Another day, another hammock in the sea πŸ€™πŸΌ
On a scale of 1 to watching the sunset from a hammock in the sea, how chilled are you feeling? πŸ€€πŸ€™πŸΌ
Some INSANELY good street art on the side of a building in Isla Holbox, Mexico. Her eyes followed you wherever you walked. πŸ‘€ So beautiful- clearly a very talented artist πŸ‘πŸΌπŸŽ¨
Scuba diving in Playa Del Carmen. I was so pleasantly surprised with how healthy the reef was- it was one of the best reef dives I’ve ever done! So much life, and lots of colourful unbleached coral. Dream dive πŸ¦‘πŸ‘πŸ πŸŸπŸ¬
Amazing to see these ancient Mayan ruins situated on a cliff edge in Tulum, Mexico. Beautiful views and made it even better by being really cheap to visit! πŸ‡²πŸ‡½πŸπŸ—Ώ
This was taken on Isla Mujeres, an island just off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. Although the island is small, it had some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. No need to edit, the colours were genuinely this bright! πŸ˜πŸπŸ‡²πŸ‡½ Continuing with posting photos in a chronological order - these were all taken in December just gone but I have such a huge backlog! πŸ™ˆ Can’t imagine how ill ever catch up, but there you go! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
Another from Bacalar Lake in Mexico! Such incredible colours πŸ’™πŸ‡²πŸ‡½
This is the Laguna de los Siete Colores in Bacalar, Mexico. πŸ’™ The water was so beautifully clear! We had a swim in this part, and also swum in another part where the water was black, because the cenote underneath was so deep. πŸ–€
I only spent one day in Belize when in transit from Guatemala to Mexico. Would have loved to spend longer but didn’t have the time! It was still nice to stop there for a couple of hours, having lunch at this harbour area. Enough time to sample a Belizean beer or two!⛡️
The sun setting on my last day in Guatemala πŸŒ…
Tikal in Guatemala in a huge site of ruins predicted to have been built as far back as the 1st Century by the Ancient Mayans. Super interesting place!
Another from the natural pools of Semuc Champey in Guatemala - such a pretty place! πŸ’™
The beautiful pools of Semuc Champey. It was a looong 13 hour drive to get here from Lake Atitlan along some pretty sketchy hill side dirt tracks but was so beautiful it was worth it! Lots of natural pools with turquoise water. This viewpoint took a very sweaty 30 minutes to walk up to but the view was unreal. πŸ˜πŸ’¦
Right I’m back and now somehow three countries behind! πŸ™ˆ Going to try and stick to chronological order. So next: this was taken during the best sunrise I’ve ever seen, looking over Lake Atitlan surrounded by volcanoes in Guatemala. Got up at 3am for this and it was so worth it. πŸŒ„πŸ’•
My favourite photo, and experience from Central America. Camping next to an active volcano β›ΊοΈπŸŒ‹ something I wouldn’t do again in a hurry!
